| PROCEDURE: |
|
Step One: |
|
 After administration of local anesthesia, the gum is lifted to expose the underlying bone and the root end of the tooth which is resected (removed) with all the surrounding infected tissue. |
|
|
Step Two: |
|
The end of the root canal is sealed with a filling, gum repositioning is done and dissolvable sutures (stitches) are placed until healing occurs.
|
|
| Step Three: |
|
 After some time, the bone healing will occur around the root-end. |
