Orthodontic Treatment (Braces)
correction of dental and facial irregularities

Orthodontics is the branch of dentistry that corrects teeth and jaws that are positioned improperly. The benefits of orthodontic treatment include a healthier mouth, a more pleasing appearance, and teeth that are more likely to last a lifetime.

“A smile is a universal welcome”
With ever changing times, every individual has realized the importance of a beautiful smile. Some of us have it naturally, while others don't. With the advent of newer methods and techniques, it is now possible for all of us to have that infectious smile. A perfect smile breeds confidence to take on the world and we are here to not only make you look good but also feel good about yourself. We want all our patients to acquire back that self esteem and that confidence that they have lost somewhere due to that imperfect smile.
How do I Know if I Need Orthodontics?
Only your dentist or orthodontist can determine whether you can benefit from orthodontics. Based on diagnostic tools that include a full medical and dental health history, a clinical exam, plaster models of your teeth, and special X-rays and photographs, an orthodontist or dentist can decide whether orthodontics are recommended, and develop a treatment plan that's right for you.
If you have any of the following, you may be a candidate for orthodontic treatment:
Overbite, sometimes called "buck teeth" — where the upper front teeth lie too far forward (stick out) over the lower teeth
Underbite — a "bulldog" appearance where the lower teeth are too far forward or the upper teeth too far back
Crossbite — when the upper teeth do not come down slightly in front of the lower teeth when biting together normally
Open bite — space between the biting surfaces of the front and/or side teeth when the back teeth bite together
Misplaced midline— when the center of your upper front teeth does not line up with the center of your lower front teeth
Spacing — gaps, or spaces, between the teeth as a result of missing teeth or teeth that do not "fill up" the mouth
Crowding — when there are too many teeth for the dental ridge to accommodate
TYPES
  METAL BRACES:
Orthodontic treatment in Delhi, IndiaTraditional metal braces are the most common type of braces and are more comfortable today than ever before. Made of high-grade stainless steel, metal braces straighten your teeth using metal brackets and archwires. With metal braces, you have the option of adding colored elastics (COLORED BRACES) for a more unique and colorful smile.
  CERAMIC BRACES:
aqCeramic braces are made of clear materials and are therefore less visible on your teeth than metal braces. For this reason, ceramic braces are used mainly on older teenagers and adult patients who have cosmetic concerns
  LINGUAL BRACES
The term "lingual” refers to the inside (tongue or palate) surface of the tooth. Lingual braces are attached to that inside surface unlike traditional braces which are fixed to the outside of the teeth. With the braces positioned on the inner surface, it makes them practically invisible and provides cosmetic orthodontic treatment without the distraction of typical braces
  INVISALIGN :
frInvisalign is a series of clear trays that are worn on crooked teeth to gradually straighten them. When worn, Invisalign trays are practically “invisible,” unlike metal braces or even clear braces. Besides being more cosmetically pleasing than traditional orthodontic braces, Invisalign is also popular because they are generally more comfortable than braces. The trays are smooth and will not irritate your lips and cheeks like traditional braces can.
  ORTHOGNATHIC SURGERY:
Orthognathic surgery is surgery to correct conditions of the jaw and face related to structure, growth, sleep apnea, TMJ disorders, malocclusion problems owing to skeletal disharmonies, or other orthodontic problems that cannot be easily treated with braces. It is also used in treatment of congenital conditions like cleft palate. Bones can be cut and re-aligned, the held in place with either screws or plates and screws.
  FUNCTIONAL ORTHODONTICS:
Functional Orthodontic treatment is reshaping and repositioning the upper jaw and lower jaw to a more harmonious position as well as straightening the teeth. Functional orthodontic treatment is more complicated and more involved; however, if done correctly, it can enhance facial profile and facial appearance.
